Here in part 2 I want to introduce the first of the paid routes to generating traffic. Paying for traffic is good in the fact that it will drive targeted leads to your site very quickly. It is a necessary evil. You can do pretty well with free marketing, but you are going to have to start paying sooner or later if you really want to drive your business. Why not start paying sooner and grow your business more quickly?
The method I'm going to discuss is pay-per-click(PPC) advertising. PPC advertising is a great way to start generating leads and growing your business in a short amount of time for a relatively small amount of money. Did you ever do a Google or yahoo search for something and notice the little ads on the sides of your results page? No? Well go search for something like "home based business" right now and take a look. Those are PPC ads. I assure you, people click them.
Now their ranking on the page is determined by how much you are willing to spend per click. You can start with as little as five dollars for a daily budget paying five cents a click. Now I don't want to mislead you here, you are probably going to want to spend more than five dollars and five cents. This is for two reasons.
The first reason is that when you create a PPC ad, you have to input keywords that "set your ad off." Say you design and sell fish tanks. Some of your keywords might want to be "fish," "aquarium," etc. The problem you run into here is that while you might want o bid only five cents for each one of your keywords, Google might require you bid a minimum ten cents for each keyword because of strong competition. On top of that, someone may be bidding two dollars per click which gives them incredible page rankings over you. But don't let that discourage you! You can start driving targeted leads to your site with a small list of keywords and low bids. Trust me, it works.
The second reason for wanting to increase your spending limit is that, as I said earlier, this is a business. You want this to work. Reaching just a bit farther and spending a little more money might make you uncomfortable. Good, you want to feel uncomfortable! This means you're growing internally, becoming a little more comfortable with yourself and your limits. The only way to become stronger is to exert your will against resistance. By doing this and making it a bit uncomfortable, you're strengthening your resolve to see this through.
I just want to close in saying don't let this stuff intimidate you. It's not just for people who "get" the internet. It's for anyone who's willing to put some time and effort into becoming successful. Your multi-level or network marketing system business can and will become a success. You just a little work everyday will help you achieve your goals in a short amount of time and you can finally stop hopping from idea to idea, hoping just to join and see instant success. Good luck in your endeavors and take care!

I want to retouch on Articles
I sat for a few minutes trying to think of some inspired writing to really drive home how important articles are and I realized that I was ignoring my own advice.
Have Fun while writing!
I know this kind of goes against what I was saying before about being in a business and you really need to understand that. Or does it?
What I mean simply is that you can't think of article writing as a downer, as more work that just HAS to be finished. Don't get me wrong here, articles and writing are an important part of your business and are a great way to start driving traffic to yourself. But if you start looking it as more work piled on top of everything else that has to get done, your chances of actually following through start to get pretty bleak, don't they? I'm willing to bet you almost groaned out loud when you read that last sentence!
Trust me, I've been there. That's why you have to have some fun when you do this. Don't worry about your grammar or your punctuation, don't stress on what words you should be using, heck don't worry to much on whether you're making all that much sense. Once you stop worrying about all this stuff and just start writing, you'll find that it can become fun and even relaxing. This time right now is my time and no one else can take it away from me.
I'm not a guru, not yet anyways! but I've found that this stuff truly helps me build my business successfully while maintaining my sanity. So just remember:
1.) You don't need another e-book
2.) Start writing now and in 6 months you'll be great at it
3.) Remember to have fun!
Trying is achieving!

There's No "Silver Bullet" to Drive Traffic to Your Website
We all know that when it comes down to it, traffic equals money. You can sell the a product that cures cancer while balancing your check book; but if no one is coming to your site to see your pitch page then you certainly won't be getting any sales. On top of that, you can't just settle for just plain old traffic. If you just needed visitors to your site, you could just go sign up for 10 auto surfs and leave them running over night. I'm pretty sure we all know how well that works.
What you need is targeted traffic to your site. You want people to navigate to your site with the expectation that you will help them solve a problem. You also have to know how to find these people. That is the crux of the matter here: getting targeted leads to your website so they buy your product.
Now unfortunately, there's no "easy button" that will get you those leads without some work. But fear not, over the next couple of days I shall give you my top five ways to start generating leads to your website. These are in no particular order as they all have to be used in conjunction to maximize your results.
I might as well start this off right and give you one good way to start generating some leads to your website. The first is article marketing/blogging. I lump these two together because if you're going to do one, you might as well just do the other. Already have a blog? Great, compile some of your posts together and you have yourself an article. Already wrote a couple of articles...ok you get the point. This is a double sided favorite of mine because it's free and with some practice, it can be fun. There's only a small catch. You actually have to write. What an awful thought, I know. It's not really that hard however. Once you knock out your first few, you'll be able to bang out three or four an hour, if that's what you really want to do.
For the first month in a business, you really want to try and write at least one a day, preferably more. After that first month, you can step it down and write one every other day. What this does is two fold. Number one, you get your name out there across the internet. Most e-zine websites have a bio box where you might give a brief description of yourself and a link to your product. People might be intrigued or like your ideas and might want to join your newsletter or buy your product. What might also start to happen is people may take your article(s) and just copy and paste them somewhere, including your bio information. This gets your name all across the internet and starts getting you back links and helps increase page rankings.
The second reason why I like article marketing so much is it really puts you into the correct mind frame. This is actually a business and you are going to have to work at it. Like I said, pretty soon you'll be able to write up a nice article in about 15 minutes. Just imagine how much better you'd become at writing if you wrote just one article every other day. This is the kind of skill that can translate into good ads that get great returns, or you could even just use the articles in your own auto-responder. There are really no negatives to this and you have everything to gain. Just have fun with it and you'll be submitting in no time.

Frustration
I've felt it. You've felt it. Anyone trying their luck making money at home has felt it. Heck, you might even be feeling it right now. It's that old bug that keeps a lot of people from achieving in their respective business. You start, you're super excited, you do everything your up lines tells you to do. And then what? You get stuck, nothings happening.
Overcoming this initial let down is a huge part of success, in every aspect of your life not just with a business. You begin all starry eyed with nothing but success in your mind. You can all but taste that filet mignon dinner you're going to treat yourself too. The key here is not to keep on lying to yourself, saying "It'll happen." You have to go learn, go find out what your mistakes were and learn from them.
Learning is key. I kept saying to myself, "I get around to making a website" or "I'll start to build my list tommorrow." NO! You go teach yourself how to do it, today. Buying a website today is cheaper than ever and their is a wealth of information on how to make your own website. If you bought a website right now and taught yourself via a google search, you could have it up and running in just a few hours. Not days, not weeks, hours. I'm assuming you can read at a 3rd grade level here, so if you're not that high yet, it may take you a little longer.
So frustration is a good thing. Why? Because you realize what you're doing isn't working. You have to take action to get to where you want to go. If you want to make money with your home based business, you have to realize that you have to take action. Take your frustration and turn it into something positive.
Trying is achieving!

P.S. My bias showing through again, but GDI is one of the best home based businesses out there. Strong stable company that is focused on websites. They even have a website builder to help you out if you've never tried it out before.

Hi, Folks
Who am I? Well, I'm the guy who saw that his up line was making tons of money from home, but couldn't be bothered to help me out with my home based business. So what did I do? Nothing. Zilch. Nada. I know a lot of you have been there, hoping that some miracle is going to pull you out of your rut. It's not. It's never going to happen. When I realized this, I got very angry. I was angry at myself for letting all this time go by and all the while expecting something to intervene on my behalf. So what did I do then? I went into action!
This is the number one "secret" that I'll be trying to teach everyone who comes here. All the so called gurus? They're no different from you, me or anyone except in one simple matter. You want to hear the secret? They DO stuff.
"What do you mean, stuff?"
I mean stuff! They're building websites, they're writing articles, they're coming up with new ideas.
"But I don't know how to make a website/come up with new ideas/etc."
Trust me, I've heard it all before, inside of my own head. Do you think those guys come across something they don't know how to do and say to themselves, "Never mind, I don't know how to do that."?? NO! They learn, they teach themselves and they move forward.
And that's the most important part, the BIG secret. Moving forward. Momentum. I don't want to espouse to many cliches here, but just one to get the point across: Get the heck off your butt and do something!
What I mean by this is do anything that can help you or your business. Anything. N-E-THING. Surf a traffic exchange for half an hour, post a few times in some forums, teach yourself how to create a website. Spend just 20 or 30 minutes a day on yourself and/or your business. You know what will happen, don't you? Momentum. Say it with me: Moe-men-tum! Pretty soon, you'll find yourself spending an hour or two a day (I didn't say it was all going to be easy!) You'll start seeing more and more success and that in turn will create even more mo....you get the idea by now, I'm sure.
Good luck and hope to see you back here soon
P.S. I might be a bit biased, but I believe this is the best business out there and it's only $10
